..   Image - Seppelt MoystonThe emergence of an old favourite – Moyston is back!

The first Seppelt Moyston was made by the legendary Colin Preece in 1951 and originally labelled as a Claret. 

At it’s time it was heralded as one of the iconic wines in the Seppelt portfolio and was enjoyed by many a baby boomer! The recrafted Moyston is making just as much impact.

Seppelt Winemaker Arthur O’Connor re-crafted Moyston in April this year. The 2003 release is a Cabernet Merlot blend that is characteristic of Victoria’s soils and climates. The wine is delicate, elegant with intense fruit characters. Still an undiscovered treasure in our portfolio and only made in vintages where the wine is exceptional, this is one for those cold winter nights.
