Welcome to the February edition of the Seppelt eNewsletter. It is a very exciting time at Seppelt as we prepare for the 1 April release of five new wines from the Seppelt Regional Collection and the esteemed 100 year old 1906 Seppelt Para Tawny, all while enjoying a glass of the new 2004 Victorian Shiraz and the 2005 Victorian Pinot Noir.

First Look at the Great 2004 Vintage
"In 2002 and 2003 we produced some excellent wines in challenging vintages due to careful vineyard management and fruit selection. 2004 Seppelt Victorian Shiraz just shows what a truly great vintage 2004 was, and how well the wines are developing, whetting our appetite for the soon to be released Regional Range, and St. Peters in September.

2005 Seppelt Bellfield Marsanne Roussanne
The traditions of blending Marsanne and Roussanne hark back to France's Rhône Valley and the wines are a cornerstone of southern French white winemaking. Seppelt has championed these two varieties with this, the third vintage of the Bellfield Marsanne Roussanne.

Forthcoming Events - Barossa Slow, 9 - 12 March 2006
The palm trees that line the road to the Seppelt Winery are an enduring symbol of the traditionally egalitarian nature of the Barossa community. Follow the avenue of these stately trees to the home and hearth of Australia's fortified wines for a tour of the original, innovative wine making operation and the family-built village surrounding it.
